With a distinguished in-house and consulting background, Betty brings unparalleled depth in navigating complex regulatory, operational, and boardroom environments across both public and private sectors.
Before joining Judson Law, Betty served as General Counsel and Company Secretary for Bamburi Cement, where she led legal operations for six regional companies and played a pivotal role in board governance, policy development, compliance programs, and stakeholder engagement. She has successfully overseen high-stakes investigations, corporate restructurings, internal policy frameworks, and compliance with international instruments such as GDPR, SAPIN2, and global anti-bribery regimes.
Betty also brings a wealth of experience from her leadership at Ceeder Consultants and previous advisory roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers, offering clients tailored legal and company secretarial services, policy development, internal investigations, HR strategy, and board-level recruitment and compliance training.
A qualified arbitrator and certified governance auditor, Betty is a Fellow of the Chartered Governance Institute (UK & Ireland), a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, and an active contributor to thought leadership in corporate governance and business integrity.
